A doctoral defense is public: anyone may watch.
From the abstract
The thesis examines how photosynthetic cells are regulated, using proteomics as its main approach. Photosynthetic organisms act as biological factories that convert sunlight and carbon dioxide into useful products such as food and forestry materials, and cyanobacteria could support green cell factories for biofuels and chemicals. Many processes inside photosynthetic cells remain incompletely understood, and learning about them could help improve productivity or enable engineering. In two of the thesis papers, a high-throughput form of thermal proteome profiling was used to study interactions between proteins and metabolites in cyanobacteria and plants.
